Dr. Plumb was raised in Southern California and completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She worked as an E.M.T. in two emergency departments and for an ALS ambulance company during her college years and then went to medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, Jeanne completed her Family Practice Residency at the University of Nevada, where she was Chief Resident from 2003-2004. During residency she met her husband, who was raised in Tahoe City, and moved to Tahoe City where she now lives with her family.
Dr. Plumb enjoys practicing the diverse field of Family Medicine. She has special interests in children/adolescent medicine and women’s health. She sees patients both in the hospital and outpatient offices. She loves working in a small town where she can be both professionally and personally involved in the community.
Dr. Plumb stays busy with her two small children and love for outdoor sports. She enjoys alpine skiing, waterskiing and mountain bike riding. She is also an active member of the Tahoe City Kiwanis Club.
