Erin Winter, M.D.

Erin graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and moved west to complete her internship and residency at the University of Nevada, Reno. After finishing her training, she decided to become a 'traveling doctor', taking locum tenens positions across the United States and in New Zealand. After traveling for a year, she was eager to return to the Tahoe area and join an established group of family physicians.

Dr. Winter relocated to Truckee and joined TTMG in summer 2008. Her primary interests include adolescent and women's health. She also enjoys emergency and urgent care medicine. Erin loves spending times outdoors biking, hiking and skiing with her husband Justin.

Erin has been active in helping organize Wilderness Medicine conferences, sponsored by UNR and hopes to broaden her involvement in the community.
